Traffic jam is the most problem of Bangladesh. Traffic jam is one of the most irritating problem in the urban areas. The causes of traffic jam are many. The roads and streets are very narrow in comparison  with the numbers of vehicles. Reckless driving and violating the traffic rules are the major causes of traffic jams. Unlicensed vehicles worsen the situation. Overtaking tendency also causes traffic jam. Unwise parking of vehicles, unauthorized stops which occupy most of the roadside and slow moving  vehicles like rickshaws, car, vans etc. Obstruct the fast moving ones. Sometimes processions , public meeting at the junctions of the roads for sewerage, cable and gas lines also cause serious jam. A traffic jam kills valuable time of the officials, students and workers,. People cannot reach their respective destination in time. So , illegal licenses and vehicles must be controlled . Vehicles must obey speed limits and avoid overtaking and follow the traffic signals. After following all these things we can hope to remove traffic jam.
